Infinite Scholars Program
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Should students bring materials like resumes, test scores, and transcripts?
A: Yes! While we prefer well-prepared students, all students are welcome. Don't miss this opportunity because you don't have a document. Please note: Bringing a resume, ACT/SAT scores, and an unofficial transcript allows college representatives to provide more tailored advice and possibly extend on-the-spot offers or scholarships.
Q: Can students upload academic documents before attending the fair?
A: Not at this time. We’re exploring tools that will allow students to securely upload key academic materials—such as transcripts, test scores, resumes, and extracurriculars—after registration. This will help streamline college rep interactions and maximize opportunities. But we must find ways to safely store student information and provide the colleges specific accesses.
Q: How should students prepare for a fair?
A: Students should:
Request an unofficial transcript from their counselor.
Update their resume with academics, extracurriculars, leadership roles, and community service.
Take the ACT/SAT and bring scores.
Use a study guide and review missed questions to identify areas of improvement.
Q: Who can attend an Infinite Scholars Program fair?
A: Our fairs are primarily geared toward high school juniors and seniors. However, younger students are welcome and encouraged to attend as a valuable learning opportunity to interact with college representatives and learn about future requirements like GPA and test scores. Undergraduate and graduate students looking to transfer or explore new opportunities are also welcome.
Q: Can international students attend?
A: Absolutely. International students are welcome, but each college or university has its own policies and requirements for international applicants.
Q: Can parents or family members attend?
A: Yes, parents and family are welcome. Only students are required to register, but parents can attend to support their students.
Q: Will Infinite Scholars share a list of colleges attending each fair this year?
A: Yes, email developmentinfo@infinitescholar.org for college list details for the fair you are interested in.
Q: Will the college I'm interested in be there?
A: We feature a wide variety of outstanding institutions. While your dream school may not attend, our fairs focus on opening doors and providing real opportunities—including scholarships—so come with an open mind.
Q: Do you offer scholarships directly?
A: No, but participating schools often offer non transferrable scholarships at the fair based on your information and conversation with their reps. The scholarships available at our fairs are tied directly to participating colleges, universities, and trade schools. We do not offer standalone scholarships.
Q: Can I get accepted or receive a scholarship at the fair?
A: Yes! Many colleges make on-the-spot offers of admission or scholarships. That’s what sets us apart.
Q: Is the college fair schedule subject to change?
A: Absolutely. While we strive to provide accurate, up-to-date information, travel delays or institutional scheduling conflicts may lead to changes. We recommend checking our website and social media regularly for updates.
Q: How often is the scholarship fair schedule updated?
A: We aim to refresh the schedule every few months to reflect confirmed cities, added fairs, and any changes in location or timing. We will always email participants if one of our fairs are cancelled, postponed or changed.
Q: Are the scholarship fairs available online or virtually?
A: Not at this time, but we are actively exploring virtual options. Stay tuned to our website and social media for updates.
Q: Will you come to my city?
A: Maybe! We’re based in the Midwest with strong networks in the Midwest, South, Southeast, Southwest, and Mid-Atlantic regions. Keep checking our website and social channels for updates on our expanding reach.
Q: Can new colleges or universities join the schedule mid-year?
A: Yes, new institutions can be added at any time they must simply register for a fair and be in good academic standing.
Q: What’s being done to encourage Ivy League and other popular schools and other elite institutions to attend?
A: We are actively engaging top-tier universities, including Ivy League institutions, to participate in our fairs. We believe our platform aligns with their evolving missions.
